Duck Duck Shoot is a 3D deception-puzzle game developed entirely in Unreal Engine, where players take on the role of a goose tasked with protecting a pond of ducks from alligators disguised among them. Players investigate crime scenes, observe NPC behaviors, gather witness clues, and make high-stakes decisions about who to trust before it’s too late. As one of the programmers on the project, I was responsible for blueprinting key player interaction systems, including the shotgun mechanics used to eliminate disguised alligators and the in-game clipboard system that allows players to track suspects, record clues, and organize evidence gathered from witnesses. The project received strong positive feedback from the instructor and earned an A+, reflecting both the technical execution and overall game design quality.
